In this plan, start with learning about greetings and manners which is the most important things in kendo. And then learn basics step by step such as how to hold bamboo swords.
The spirit of kendo is "respect to others" and "courtesy".
Kendo is not just a martial art only competing to win or not. It's to know how to respect competitors and dojo and to improve your "Spirit, Techniques and Physical Strength" through fights.

○About Iwaki Dojo
Iwaki Dojo was founded with the respect of courtesy and the purpose of bringing people up who can contribute to society with the spirit of gratitude and service with sublime pride.
In order to spread martial arts, they interact with Italy, Russia and South Korea and provide the dojo as a place of exchanges for foreign trainees from overseas.
