Yata-dera Temple is said to be the birthplace of Jizo in Japan, and the oldest Enmei Jizo Bosatsu in Japan is enshrined there.
Also, from June 1st to July 10th, you can enjoy about 60 kinds of 10,000 hydrangeas!

Every year from May 25st to Jun 30th, about 60 kinds of 1,000 hydrangeas bloom.
An entrance fee (700 yen for adults, 300 yen for elementary school students) is required during the opening period of the hydrangea garden.
Please take a look at the hydrangea garden in the precincts of 25,000㎡.
