Experience
Ikebana: A Mindful Japanese Flower Arranging Experience - At Mt. Shigi, the Sacred Mountain of Nara
Arrange flowers in the rich nature and history of Mount Shigi, and calm your mind.
Mount Shigi, the sacred peak soaring in Nara Prefecture, is the site where Prince Shotoku is believed to have encountered Bishamonten (Vaisravana, the God of Fortune and War). Would you like to join a special Kado (Japanese flower arrangement) experience in this sacred land?

Details of the experience

You will spend a quiet time confronting your inner self through flower arrangement, while learning the teachings of the Shigi-san Shinkaryu school, which is headquartered on Mount Shigi.
The process of carefully arranging each single flower is like a meditation, allowing you to step away from your busy daily life, calm your mind, and reflect on yourself.
