Kendo is more than just a sport; it's a concentration of the Japanese spirit, embodying discipline, focus, and self-improvement. Why not deepen your understanding of Japanese history and spirituality through this experience in Ikaruga, a town with a 1,400-year history?

You'll witness a powerful demonstration by a swordsman and learn about the important etiquette and equipment used in kendo. You'll also get to try swinging a shinai (bamboo sword) and be taught some techniques, giving you a chance to experience the unique charm of Japanese kendo.

Additionally, you can try on the protective gear for a memorable photo opportunity.
12:50 PM: Meet at the North Exit of JR Horyuji Station → Travel by car (approx. 5 minutes) → 1:00 PM: Arrive at the dojo → 2:00 PM: End of experience → Proceed to the nearest bus stop.
