E-bike guided tours to enjoy the countryside and temples of good old Ikaruga,Nara

The e-bikes used for the tour are powerful electric bicycles that do not require a driving licence. They are available in a variety of sizes and can be safely ridden by anyone over 150 cm.

Along the way, enjoy Chinese milk vetch and cherry blossoms in spring, ears of rice in summer and autumn leaves in fall♪
Horin-ji Temple was built by Prince Shotoku's son, Yamashirono oeno o, and the auditorium is lined with important cultural properties from the Asuka period, including Buddhist statues, which can be seen up close.
There are some hills on the way, but with the assistance of an E-bike, it's no problem. It's easy peasy up the hill.
The road into Jiko-in Temple is cobbled, but you can pass on those 38C tyres.
The highlight of Jikoin is the beautiful Karesansui / dry landscape garden, which is awarded one of the three best gardens in Nara.
Visitors can have a cup of green tea while gazing at the garden, and enjoy the space where time flows slowly.
Here you can try Ikaruga's speciality, tatsuta-age! The crispy starch batter and juicy chicken are very popular with the locals and tourists.

Horyu-ji Temple, built by Prince Shotoku, was one of the first World Heritage Sites in Japan and is famous as the oldest wooden structure in the world.
The vibration control technology used in the central pillar of the five-storey pagoda, which is also the symbol of Horyu-ji, has also been applied to the Tokyo Skytree.
