Tatsuta Shrine

Tourist attractions

Approximately 2100 years ago, during the era of the tenth Emperor Sujin, a god appeared in the emperor's dream while bad crops and epidemics were prevalent in Japan. The emperor was told to set the palace in Tatsuta, where the sun shines in the morning sun and hides in the setting sun. When the palace was built on that place as the god said, it was reported that the crops were abundant and the plague had disappeared, which is said to be the founding of the shrine.
